If you were one of the many, okay, several, alright alright, few people I’ve met who swore they were just going to buy the ebook version of the comedy novel The Miracle Tree, and yet haven’t managed to get around to it, now’s your chance.
Smashwords is currently running a promotion offering the novel at half the usual price. So instead of the old outlandish total of $5, you may now buy it for a mere $2.50 — less than you’ll pay for that fancy latte made with beans and milk generated by Third World urchins abducted into the child slave trade and sad cows.
The discount should show up automatically on the Smashwords website. Just punch in the coupon code they give you and rush to the cash register.
Note that Smashwords lets you download the book in whatever format you prefer, whether you read online, with an iPod, Kindle, Kobo or whatever. Or mix it up. You can download all of them for the same, single low, low price.
If you do, and you’re not completely, or at least partially satisfied, I will personally refund the half of the original fee you didn’t pay anyway thanks to the promotion.
